F/Lt
Mather DFC AFC flew his record number of flights during Plainfare,
with 206 Squadron. With the prospect of 206 disbanding at the end
of August 1949, it appears he was posted to 59 Squadron, shown here
wearing a 59 Squadron blazer badge on his flight suit.

more This was Roy's crew with 206 Squadron. It is unconfirmed
whether he transferred to 59 with his entire crew but "postings
in" noted in the ORB, August and Sept 1949, would suggest that
he did. |
