Nathaniel White enlisted with the RAAF in February 1941. Born in Yarra Glen in 1911 he was the son of Nathaniel and Sarah (Doak) White. He was sent to England where he flew with the RAF 59 Squadron. On 21 April 1942 he was killed during a flying battle over the North Sea.
Update April 2013: I have recently been contacted by Dominic, the grandson of Sgt White, so more updates to follow. Thanks Dominic for getting in touch.
