Little is known of P/O Wordsworth at this time. He was a WAG on the Squadron between Dec. 1941and Sept. 1943 and a member of Sgt. Nankervis' Hudson crew in early 1942.

According to the Australian National Archives, RAAF personnel records, he was born on 18th August 1920 in Gordonvale QLD and enlisted in Brisbane.
